You must be 17 years of age to use SkiCarpool. SkiCarpool facilitates carpooling to Colorado ski resorts. You agree to use SkiCarpool for its intended, and not for any other purposes, including those prohibited by law. You agree that SkiCarpool may terminate your Profile or remove all or part of your Profile and/or any content you may have entered, with or without notice and for any reason without being held liable to you or any third-party. You assert that, as a driver, you have a valid driver’s license and car insurance required by law, and that your car is safe for the purpose of carpooling to Colorado resorts. You will not attempt to gain access to any unauthorized information through SkiCarpool.org. The Site reserves the right to update the Terms of Use at any time without notice to you.

Privacy Policy

SkiCarpool.org is committed to maintaining your privacy. Personal account information will not be shared with a third party.
'Zip code' is required because it allows you to search for Profiles based on distance from your zip code.
'Email address' is required because it is the best way to login since no two people have the same one and it's unlikely to be forgotten. Your profile gets confirmed when you successfully reply to an email from SkiCarpool.org, so it must be your real email address. If you allow other users to email you, your email address is hidden from them when they email you. They will not know your email address. You have the option to expose your phone number to other users on a trip in order to make it easier for them to contact and meet you. This is particularly useful for making plans on short notice.
The Site will never call you and ask what’s for dinner.

Liability

The user understands that there is risk voluntarily assumed by using SkiCarpool, and that not all may have been mentioned here. The Site assumes no liability whatsoever. The user releases SkiCarpool LLC from all liability for loss or damage to any vehicle and/or its contents, or for injury to or death of any person, which arises in the course of, in connection with, or as a result of carpooling(or other services provided by SkiCarpool), including, without limitation, vehicle accidents, driving infractions and incidents involving SkiCarpool participants.

Disclaimer

The Site does not conduct background checks or verify information entered on the website, and therefore cannot guarantee that user created content is true or appropriate. However, any content may be edited or removed by The Site upon determining that it is false or unsuitable. The Site is not responsible for ensuring the quality of a driver’s license, vehicle, or insurance. This responsibility lies with the driver as does checking that his/her insurance adequately covers all vehicle occupants. Occupants are also responsible to ensure that they are covered by their own insurance policy. It is suggested that you discuss and/or review the driving records and habits of the other people in a carpool.
